A paramedic witnesses a brutal killing and can't let the authorities know he saw it. Later he is charged with murder, but the local sheriff also has a motive to be the murderer. After escaping from jail, the paramedic sets out to prove his innocence. The story involves Medicare fraud and corruption between a union boss and a hospital corporation. The ending is a real shocker.
